Travelling on the passenger’s seat

When we travel by car, my husband is the driver. No, I don’t just gaze at the landscapes, I pay attention to the road. I don’t give indications – even if I have a driver’s license – I trust the driver. But, sometimes, I admit, I take advantage of being the passenger and I take photos.

I really like these photos taken on the road, from the car. Not all of them are perfect or usable – some are unfocused – but some manage to capture special moments or places.

As I was looking through my photos today, I found this picture taken almost two years ago. It was December 31st, yes, New Year’s Eve, and we were on a one day trip with the car – back by 8 PM. We went to some caves and even stopped at a monastery on the road, plus we saw a church made out of a single tree.

As we entered Gorj county, this is the landscape we saw. Yes, I find it to be calming, beautiful, peaceful:).
